Report of the 4th Spandora of the Academic Year 2023-24

The 4th Spandora of this year took place at 3 pm, Friday, March 1st, 2024. The initiative of organizing this programme was taken up by the Natural Science option.  This event facilitated the showcasing of the talent of all the student teachers from different options. Punnya Pauly of Natural Science Option extended a welcoming address to the gathering and provided instructions regarding the programme.

 The fourth talent expo of Navajyothi College diverged significantly from previous editions, focusing exclusively on the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the 'Ek Bharath Shreshtha Bharath'. The programme commenced with a traditional dance from Himachal Pradesh presented by the Natural Science option and a traditional song performed by the Physical Science option. Afterwards, the Social Science option introduced a variety of food items indigenous to Himachal Pradesh. Following this, the Malayalam option organized a fashion show. Then the Mathematics option portrayed a tragic incident from a calamity that occurred in Himachal Pradesh. Lastly, the English option presented a tableau depicting various festivals celebrated in Himachal Pradesh.

Parvathy K from the Natural Science option conveyed her heartfelt appreciation to all those who contributed both on and off the stage to ensure the success of the program.  And so, the fourth chapter of Spandora concluded, leaving behind memories of love and unity. The stage now eagerly anticipates the arrival of the next Spandora event.

Report on Trends Olavum Onavum Competition On 21 st August 2023 Trends organized a fashion show on the theme Olavum Onavum at Vimala College. The student teachers from Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women also participated in the competition. Several colleges participated in the competition and all exhibited various performances. 23 student teachers from our college went to the competition. It was a tough competition. The result was announced on the same day. Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women achieved 2 nd position in the competition. It was a big achievement for our college. Ek bharath quiz competition

Ek Bharath Shreshtha Bharath Quiz Competition Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women on 5 th March 2024 held a quiz competition organized by Ek Bharath Shrestha Bharath. The programme was conducted at multi-purpose hall and began at 9.30 am during the morning assembly. Devika T C from the Malayalam option did the announcement for the programme. The prayer was sung by Neethu Purushothaman. The welcome address was delivered by Sneha Joseph. The state taken for Ek Bharath Shreshtha Bharath is Himachal Pradesh. Greeshma T N gave a brief introduction to the idea of Ek Bharath Shreshtha Bharath and also an overall view of the traditions, and cultures of Himachal Pradesh. A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the students about Himachal Pradesh before the quiz competition. The questions for the quiz competition were taken from the presentation.
