Navajyothi College of Teacher Education for Women on 5th
March 2024 held a quiz competition organized by Ek Bharath Shrestha Bharath.
The programme was conducted at multi-purpose hall and began at 9.30 am during
the morning assembly. Devika T C from the Malayalam option did the announcement
for the programme. The prayer was sung by Neethu Purushothaman. The welcome
address was delivered by Sneha Joseph. The state taken for Ek Bharath Shreshtha
Bharath is Himachal Pradesh. Greeshma T N gave a brief introduction to the idea
of Ek Bharath Shreshtha Bharath and also an overall view of the traditions, and
cultures of Himachal Pradesh. A PowerPoint presentation was shown to the
students about Himachal Pradesh before the quiz competition. The questions for
the quiz competition were taken from the presentation. Priya Mol T C from the
English option led the quiz competition. In total 12 students participated in
the quiz competition. There were 6 teams, and from each option, two students,
one from juniors and one from seniors participated in the quiz.
In the first session of the quiz competition, 10 questions
were asked to each group. The scoreboard was maintained by Neethu
Purushothaman. The first place was cracked by Mathematics and the second place
was achieved by Physical Science. At last Sr. Dr. Gigi Paul congratulated the
winners and all the participants. The programme was a success and was executed
properly under the leadership of Sr. Jincy Lazer, the teacher in charge of Ek
Bharath Shreshtha Bharath.
